Here’s the lowdown for what your favorite working groups will be tackling this week:
Action will be working on outreach for the Fossil Free Addendum, a proposed piece of legislation that amends the University of Illinois Act to legally mandate divestment.
Media is taking a break this week, but the Green Observer will be meeting to continue work on articles for an anticipated late October release of our environmental magazine.
Education will work on the upcoming Urbana letter writing event, and is seeking volunteers for three upcoming events. Sign up here.
Walkable Cities will continue making infographics to be used at Park(ing) Day’s booth in a few weeks.
Solidarity Gardens will be finishing up garden beds.
‼️Camping Announcement ‼️
If you have signed up to come camping with us this Friday, please note that you should have submitted a gear rental request by now if you need any! Here is a document with all vital camping information. Please sign up in the carpooling sheet if you haven’t yet! We want to make sure everyone is accounted for.
Show up on Wednesday! Go green or go HOME!
