Next SECS Meeting This Wednesday at 6:30! 🌱

Happy Monday! COP28, the 28th annual conference of world countries to discuss and implement solutions to climate change, is upon us. Follow the coverage with your free student subscription to the New York Times here.

This Wednesday will be our last meeting before winter break. We know everyone is busy with projects and final exams, so come relax with SECS! We will be playing board games and generally chilling out. Feel free to bring any items to make this mission possible, like card games or snacks!

This meeting will be Wednesday, December 6th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Channing Murray Foundation (1209 W. Oregon Street).

Show up on Wednesday! Go green or go HOME!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Sign these petitions!
Go here to sign a petition calling on President Biden and the Department of Energy to stop the construction of over 20 new liquified natural gas export facilities that would produce the same amount of emissions as 675 coal-fired power plants. Just one of these 20 facilities, known as CP2, would cause 20 times as much carbon pollution as Alaska’s Willow Project.
