Next SECS Meeting This Wednesday at 6:30! 🌱

Happy Monday! Hopefully everyone is enjoying the warmer weather, for which we have climate change to thank! If this is worrying to you, come out to Channing Murray on Wednesday.

The winter edition of the Green Observer has been published! If you haven’t treated yourself to the well-rounded sensory experience of reading the most recent issue, you can do so here. Our beloved members worked very hard on every part of this publication!

This week our working groups continue to fight the good fight. As always, bring a computer!

Action will continue to work on ways to prevent Chevron from sponsoring the Engineering Open House Award.

Fossil Free Addendum will be hopping on a Zoom with Carol Ammons’ Energy and Environment panel and will spend the rest of the meeting on outreach for the addendum.

Media will continue painting the ecobrick Block I.

Education will finalize plans for next week’s letter writing event.

Solidarity Gardens will be working outside if the weather is nice, and researching grant opportunities and planning for native plants if not.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, February 28th at 6:30 p.m. at the Channing Murray Foundation (1209 W. Oregon Street).

🚨WAIT, THERE’S MORE!🚨

Bring Something to Next Week’s Potluck!
