Next SECS Meeting This Wednesday at 6:30! 🌱
Happy Monday! Last week, we sold some festive fall delicacies on the Quad and totally crushed Wisconsin in the homecoming game.
Our next meeting will be Wednesday, October 25th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Channing Murray Foundation (1209 W. Oregon Street).
Our working groups are whipping up some cool stuff this week. Please be sure to bring a computer!
Action will be joining Media in painting a banner for the Day of Action happening this Friday, October 27th. On October 27th, students across the world will stand in solidarity and demand their universities to #CutAllTies. The more of us join, the clearer and more unified our message is: the fossil fuel industry's influence is not welcome on campuses.
Green Observer is finalizing submissions for the fall issue, which will also be released this Friday!
UIS Fossil Free Addendum will strategize their next actionable steps, and will join with the wonderful Education once more to continue planning the letter-writing campaign.
