Elections!

Next SECS Meeting This Wednesday at 6:30! 🌱

Thank you to everyone who came out last week for the teach-in! As a reminder, our board applications for the 2025-2026 year are OPEN! We encourage any and everyone to apply here for up to two positions. Note that we have created the new position of Policy Coordinator. Applications will close at 11:59 p.m. on April 8th (that’s tomorrow!).

We are anticipating having elections this week, so be sure to attend to cast your vote! We will be listening to brief statements from applicants and vote right afterwards. We will be in the basement this week!

If we have extra time, here’s what our working groups will be up to:

Action will be continuing outreach with other RSOs for an upcoming spring action event.

Media will be plarning!

Physical copies of the Winter 2024 edition of the Green Observer are here! If you pre-ordered, make sure you’ve paid and come pick up your copy at the meeting. If you haven’t, there will be extras available for purchase. For those who submitted to the Spring 2025 edition, look out for edits on rough drafts to be complete before the meeting. Final drafts will be due this Friday.

Education will plan an upcoming teach-in with Keramos.

Circular Fashion Expo will be working on their speech and picking a speaker.

Join us this Wednesday, April 9th at 6:30 p.m. at the Channing Murray Foundation (1209 W. Oregon Street) for our next meeting.
