First SECS Meeting Wednesday at 6:30
Hello to our new faces, thanks for stopping by our table on quad day! Welcome back to our returning members, excited to see you all again!
First SECS Meeting This Wednesday at 6:30!
No time to dilly dally, we’re getting right back into meetings. At the Channing Murray Foundation, 1209 W Oregon Street, as usual. Come learn about what SECS does, and how you can get involved.
Community Building
Before our meetings, from 6:00-6:30, come to the Channing Murray for some community building. If you’re new and want to make some friends, or a returning member who wants to meet more of SECS, come say hello.
Join the Discord
Discord is our primary method for members to communicate in SECS. We’ll be using this to share information during our meetings as well, so joining now gets you ahead. Stay up to date with our projects, help plan our next steps, and get to know us at the link below.
Some New Stuff
If you were here last year, you may notice some changes to the board:
We have new role, Policy Coordinator, who will be leading our work with legislation and policy.
The editor-in-chief of the Green Observer is now a board position
We will have only one Action Coordinator
If you missed it, after our elections last spring we have new members of the board. If you haven’t met them already, you check out our Instagram to get introduced or come say hello on Wednesday
Remnants
The Winter 2025 edition of the Green Observer, Currents, is on a brand new page of the SECS website! The next theme, Remnants, has been announced. Read Currents at your leisure or submit to Remnants here.
