In a return to your regularly scheduled newsletter, thank you to everyone who came camping over the weekend! We persevered despite freezing temperatures and a whole lot of campfire smoke.

This week, we will hear from Chibu Asonye, a Green Party Congressional candidate from Illinois’ 13th district. For more information about her and her campaign, go to chibuforcongress.nationbuilder.com.

After that, our wonderful working groups will continue to fight the good fight:

Action will be continuing solidarity work and celebrating our very successful march!

Fossil Free Addendum will be planning for an upcoming lobbying day in Springfield and prepping for summer activism.

Media is not meeting, but Green Observer will be working on the next issue’s spread.

Solidarity Gardens will be doing a lot of work outside while the weather is good!

Circular Fashion Expo will be finishing the final outline for the speech.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, April 24th at 6:30 p.m. at the Channing Murray Foundation (1209 W. Oregon Street).
